This is War, Baby is a dark and twisted book. It will make you cringe and blush but you can’t help but keep on reading. You will be glued to the pages and nothing else matters until you finish. It’s also a beautiful story and I’m definitely a K. Webster fan. I’m a dark romance junkie, I search for the taboo and kinky stuff and This is War, Baby hit all the right spots and more. Holy Hell this book!!!!! So, normally in my reviews I like to give a little information about the characters BUT there is no way I can do it with this book because I don’t want to give anything away. If I thought that for one second I was hooked at the beginning of this book I was dead wrong because BOOM part two happens and I’m like WHAT!!!!?? To say I could not put this book down is a huge understatement, I’m talking every time I had to put it down I wanted to cry. I love K. Superb! If I had more starts I would give them. It is so clever and intense. Even the names have more meaning to them. To have a character like War that feels so weak but is so strong at the same time. And one like Bay that can stand so much pain and confusion but still extremely caring and compassionate. Still be able to love. The trauma that they have had before meeting each other and that continues to torment them, it’s enough to break and destroy them but wow… they are still standing. And there is so much more to come, one twist after the other. Very dark, twisted but very exciting!

Wow, what a dark tale full of mystery and suspense. Throw in some violence and erotica. I love K Webster writing. I am working my way through all her books. Poor Baylee is taken from her bedroom. By someone she trusts. It only get’s worse when Gabe sells her in an auction. War buys her, unaware what is really going on. This book ends, going straight into the next book.
