Wow, this book is so emotional. Probably the most heartwrenching yet in the series. I think the most beautiful aspect of this series is the epic journey that all these characters embark on. Here you have a group of alpha elite, specially trained men who excel at their job. They live for the team and their missions. They work well together, they follow Vander’s lead, and are pretty much unstoppable in all things…But you throw in a bunch of little omega lifemates and it sends their world off its axis. These little omegas are the ONE thing they can’t conquer… well not easily at least. They can’t fix or achieve their goal with wit, tactical smarts, or brute force. It really brings out a whole other side to each of them. It’s beautiful to watch unfold. These omegas are not ordinary. Each one has suffered immense trauma, loss, and heartbreak and has to fight their way to their lifemates. As seen in this book it is not just Jumoke and his lifemate that are affected, it is all of them. As a team and now as a family unit they have united together amidst the trauma and challenges that lie ahead and the connection between them all is unlike ever seen before. The omegas can comfort one another and sense their emotional distress through their omega link. This book was so heartbreaking but what a journey. I am so happy for Jumoke and the entire team and now we wait for Vander.

This book had a lot of emotion packed into it. But it was so worth the read! I am so happy with how the author had both characters kind of take a “journey’ together that changes them yet brings them closer to each other. I cried for these two. But I also enjoyed their story so much! The visuals the author put into my mind were so beautiful and made me feel like she wrote this story the best possible way she could. Anastasia had so much loss and pain, but Jumoke was perfect for her.
This book also moves the story along and sets up three next book. I can’t wait for Vander’s story. I feel like his omega is going to make him work for their mating!

I have really enjoyed V’s Alpha Elite series – but Anastasia and Jumoke’s story has really upped the game. Once again
V.T. Bonds paints a world so perfectly with characters I have come to love and find myself quite protective over. Amongst the danger looming over the group’s head we learn about Anastasia’s heartbreaking (I mean that – have tissues and glass of whiskey ready) past and we get to see what kind of mate Jumoke truly is. V.T.’s imagination and talent to write a story keeps blowing me away – she can extract feelings I rarely feel while feeling, this book being proof. I loved everything about it, seeing how Anastasia is so strong surviving what she has, Jumoke being everything she needed (and more), and their bonds growing not only between one another but with Jumoke’s team mates and their Omegas as well. This is one helluva fantastic story that is packed with emotion, action and steam – it’ll have you reaching for a tissue to wipe your eyes one minute and fanning yourself the next. I can’t wait to see what this talented author brings to my kindle for Vander, I know it’s going to be crazy intense!
