It saddens me to the core to rate this book the way that I did and there is only one thing that kept it at that… Shaun…. One of the worst FMC I’ve read to date.
Warden that man is the epitome of a biker; dirty talking, raw, gritty, OTT, possessive, obsessive, and sexy. Now, if you’ve read my reviews before about MC books then you would know I love thus lifestyle and these books I take seriously; this is not a genre that you can just play around with because it’s fiction… that’s my opinion.. Lynn did a phenomenal job whether she did research or not, she nailed it.
Shaun this girl is irritating, immature, naive, and flat out stupid. She has no common sense when it comes to her family who’s clearly in danger and she’s so reckless without any remorse; I just couldn’t put up with her but I did because the story is amazing.
The steam is off the charts these to have chemistry galore and when you add in hate/lust/love that makes it even better. Now, Shaun can definitely be a freak in the sheets but an idiot otherwise.
This will not deter me from reading the rest of this series because I am invested in it and the other characters as well!

Shaun (FMC) has a haunted past and an over-protected life leads to a wild side. Drew (MMC) once was her bodyguard, but after a mistake it’s been years since he had seen her or her father. So when they show up needing help, history comes to the surface. But with that history leads to tension and some serious steamy scenes. I enjoyed the grit in this book along with the storyline. I will continue with this series. TW/18+
