When you purchase an eBook from Eden Books you can download it for ALL e-readers. Books can only be downloaded from password protected accounts on the Eden Books site.
Please note: Amazon made the decision May 2022 to discontinue use of “mobi” formatted books. As a result, all books in the “ePub” format will now open on Kindle devices and app. Additionally, Amazon will send users a confirmation email when adding a book or file purchased from non-Amazon retailers like Eden Books. Readers should check inboxes or spam/junk folders for this email confirmation to complete the addition of books to your Kindle library.
Due to the varieties of available devices, the operating systems, and/or browser used, downloading may vary from device to device. The screenshots used in the guides below were created on an iPhone 11 and a Samsung Galaxy s10e phone.
Where To Download
After purchasing an eBook from our website, you will be emailed with an invoice that includes a download link. You will be directed back to your Eden Books account to enter your password. Books can only be downloaded from password protected accounts on the Eden Books site.
You can always download your books two ways:
- By logging on to your Eden Books account then, under your avatar, go to Orders > Eden Downloads, then click on the invoice number for your books
- Go to edenbookstore.com/dashboard/eden-downloads (you may need to logon to your account).
How to Read Your eBooks
You will need an eBook reading application on your device or computer in order to open your eBook. We recommend some popular – and free – eBook reading apps below. Install an app, download your eBook, and then open the eBook in your reading app.
iBooks for iOS (i.e.: iPhone, iPad, iMac only)
Google Play Books for iOS
Google Play Books for Android
Amazon Kindle (check “documents” section for downloaded books)
KyBook 3 for iOS devices
Prestigio for Android or Samsung (HIGHLY recommended)

FROM A COMPUTER OR MOBILE DEVICE
To download your book to your Kindle FROM YOUR COMPUTER OR MOBILE DEVICE
- Download the file and save to your computer (laptop/desktop) or your file manager folder (mobile devices)
- Email the file as an attachment to your Kindle email account (click here to find your Kindle address). BE SURE the email address used to SEND the book file to your Kindle is listed as an approved email in your Kindle Library. For instructions on adding your email address or any other please click here. We strongly encourage readers to also add [email protected] to your list of approved email addresses.
- Amazon will send a confirmation email to your regular email on file with them to be sure the book you’re adding is legitimate. Please check your inbox or spam/junk folders for this email.
- Look under “DOCS” or “ALL FILES” on your Kindle or Kindle app
- Open file on Kindle devices or Kindle app
**Please note that it may take several minutes for the eBook to sync to your Library.
