This book was taboo from the beginning but I kept reading because something told me I had to finish and I’m glad I did! While it was sinful, taboo, dark, dangerous, and scary at times, there was a whole side that may be hidden from readers (that is if said readers can’t open their eyes beyond the taboo aspect) that was focusing on the love and devotion of a man to his woman. The Wild is an absolute must read for those who like to be shocked. Because you will most certainly be surprised by the turn of events toward the end. And if readers can overlook their morals, values, beliefs for just a few chapters, the torture of waiting for the surprising turn of events is worth the “Reed”. I?m pretty sure The Wild was written for the extremely advanced taboo reader, you know the ones who are a little more open minded and can power through what is to be perceived to be the biggest taboo in the history of man. Once you get past the worst, you?ll find out things aren?t really what they seem to be and will throe you for the biggest loop! HOLY SHIT!!!! That TWIST!!!! This STORY!!!! What a book this was! The Wild has got to be the MOST taboo book I’ve personally EVER read!! It’s crazy and brutal and dark and just WOAH!
