I’ve loved my brother for as long as I can remember, and that love turned into something else somewhere along the way. I know what I have to do to get us out from under our parents thumb, to keep him safe, but what if keeping him safe means keeping him away from me? Nonsense. I couldn’t even fathom a life without him by my side.

When an impromptu trip demanded by our foul parents lands him and I alone at some romantic bed and breakfast I cross the line I promised myself I never would. I touch him in ways a brother never should. Can we come back from something like this? Is there such a thing as coming back? Or do we just push forward?
