This place doesn’t exactly follow the law, so you need a recommendation from someone to get in the door. My friend Jannie auctioned off her virginity last year, and she helped me get in. She told me she got enough for two years of tuition. I hope I can get that much.

“Strip. Robes only,” barks the coordinator, her sleek bob as sharp as her tone.

The silk robe slides across my skin as I shed my sundress and panties. Despite the warmth backstage, my n*pples tighten against the smooth fabric. Once I’m dressed, a worker leads me down a hallway into a waiting room.

The guy who won me is there, waiting.

“I’m James,” he introduces himself, and his deep voice sends shivers down my spine.

The worker leaves us, and before I can introduce myself, he speaks again.
