Life for Kenny Somerton had just begun. Recent college graduate who snagged his dream job and had been sent to attend a business meeting in New Orleans. A place at the top of his bucket list. What was even more fortuitous was this year his birthday fell during Mardi Gras. How could he not fly in a few days early to celebrate?

The streets were packed, and the bars filled to the brim. It took forever to get through the line to get a drink, and by sheer luck, he snagged a barstool at the same time. Ah, now he could relax and listen to the band play. Their sound was so surreal, so alluring, and Kenny swayed to the music.
