just loved this novel, but I could never understand why Hannah put up with Eric’s controlling ways, and finally his physical abuse. I loved the way that she never gave up on a beaten and scarred horse and I cried for the abused horse! I did not like Hannah’s boyfriend at all and I could see him getting his way by marrying her and taking control of the Taylor’s assets like he was not wealthy enough! I adored Leo Fernandes sexy strut, the way he looked at Hannah, and his desire to help an abused horse just melted my heart. (less)

Let’s see where do I begin….
Hannah Taylor is a full time college student and is dating the number one polo player in the world Eric Bennet for the past two years. She recently inherited her grandmothers horse ranch when she died in a suspicious fire at the ranch that killed her and Hannah’s prized horse.
Hannah’s grandmother was a horse healer and when she passed the animal control agent brought a beaten horse (Argus) to Hannah to heal. Hannah didn’t know what to do but she didn’t want the horse put down so she said that she would try.
Leo Fernandes is a polo player from Brazil who has come to the US to join Eric’s polo team along with his two brothers and his cousin.
Leo meets Hannah for the first time when she is chasing after Argus after he broke out of the stable and Leo almost hits him with his car.
Lets just say that after that first meeting none of there lives will be the same again.

**This book does have domestic violence in it which maybe a turn off to most people (myself included) but it was so well written that even though it was there I still LOVED this story.
