Talk about confusing, but I loved Mr. Ward’s quirky humor! He was no one, had no body to call his own and was forced to protect a little boy from his evil dad who tried to shoot him. Little Jess was too afraid to move when his dad took shots at him and only Reno Sundown could snatch him up and make Jess’s legs run for his life. He was a keeper of madness. for pain and bad, he got off on violence and he was very good at it. From once being friends to hating each other, Reno just wanted out of Jess’s head and out of his control as it was only when Jess had to fight that he’d let Reno take over and do the fighting.
