I eat my cereal in silence, and my father keeps glancing at me over his newspaper. He probably recalls everything that happened last night, and he likely thinks I’m some sort of slut. Not that I can blame him. I was a slut last night, but I couldn’t help myself. My other boyfriend never made me feel even a tenth of the ecstasy I got last night.

“Rose, what’s wrong?”

Oh God, what do I say? I fiddle with my spoon and avoid his eyes. “Um, was last night good for you?”
