Daddy Quarantine: Trapped at Home Series

There’s absolutely no way, no how, that I’m obeying this supposed “lock down” order or whatever they call it. I’m 18 and this is how they expect me to spend the last two months of my senior year, locked in my own home?

Forget it. It’s just me and my stepdad and if I’m forced to do nothing but hang out with him for the next two months, I’ll lose my freakin mind.

Fortunately, he isn’t paying a whole lot of attention to me these days. He’s working from home, and is pretty busy, so if I wanted to sneak out in the middle of the night, which I do, I can probably get away with it and he’ll never know.

A bunch of us are planning to meet at midnight in the woods to party. We’re trying to keep it quiet, so we don’t attract any unwanted attention. We’ve heard of other teenagers hosting these huge parties where the cops come in and arrested everyone which would suck.

Nope, we’re not that stupid. We’re keeping it small, so we don’t get caught. The plan is to crawl out my bedroom window, and walk down the street, where my friend Noel will pick me up and take me to the party. Easy peasy.

Daddy is sound asleep by midnight so that makes the whole caper even easier to pull off. Sometimes he stays up late watching tv but tonight he’s in bed. I can’t wait to graduate and get out of here.

The sucky part is, it looks like I won’t even get a graduation ceremony. They’ll have to mail our diplomas to us. After 12 years of hell that’s all we get. A piece of paper in the mail. No prom, no parties, no ceremony. Just a package in the mail.

That’s why a bunch of us have decided we’ll just make our own parties. Although hopefully very quietly. I sneak out my bedroom window as planned and take off at a slow run.

When Noel sees me, she flashes her lights at the bottom of the street, so I know it’s her. I hop in the passenger side out of breath from the excitement and my brief jog.

We laugh at our success and high 5 each other. This is a lot easier than even I thought it would be.
“So, do you think Jeremy will be there tonight?” Noel teases.

“Oh my god I hope so!” I’ve had my eye on Jeremy for a while and rumor had it he was going to ask me to prom, and then everything went to hell and they closed the school. I’m desperately hoping he shows up tonight.

He said he would as long as he can sneak out. I dressed just for him. Short denim skirt and a crop top that’s cut low along with a push up bra. Let’s just say I’ve left very little to the imagination.

I look sexy as hell and I know it. I hope if he’s there tonight maybe we can sneak off somewhere in the woods for some alone time. I wouldn’t mind going all the way with him.

Hey, if there’s anything we’ve learned in the last few weeks it’s that life is short, right? And who knows when we might get the opportunity again.
