Daddy Summer Camp

“No!” I stomp my feet against the car floor. “I don’t want to go to summer camp!”

“Christ, Honey, calm down,” he says. “It’s for your own good.”

“But, I’m eighteen. I’m too old to go to—”

“The deal was when you leave home for college in the Fall, then you’re free to make your own decisions regarding your social life,” she says. “Until then, we still have a job to do as your parents.”

“Please!” I cry. “I’ll be good, I swear!”
