Deal Takers is the second book in the Dealing with Love Series by Laura Lee, but fear not if you have yet to read Deal Breakers, the first book, no worries this book can be read as a standalone. I will warn you though once you read this book you will want to go back and read Devyn and Riley’s book.

Can you tell by this tiny excerpt that this was a fun read? The banter between Brody and Rainey was great, I mean sometimes I had tears rolling down my eyes from laughing so hard especially when Brody first meets Rainey in the hospital where she’s a nurse and he has to explain what he is doing there…..so he does it in pig Latin! Seriously folks this is a grown man speaking in pig Latin about taking a little blue pill and the lasting effects…too funny!
This book isn’t only laugh out loud funny, it is also serious at times, and sexy as all get out at others. The chemistry between Brody and Rainey is perfect since this book spans over several years we get to watch the relationship develop between the two from a slow simmer, which Rainey totally ignores, to a raging boil. Broady and Rainey really do know how to heat up the sheets together, the only question is will she allow there secret to become something more.
I would recommend this book to everyone, I honestly don’t think there is a specific type of reader that this should be recommended to. You have humor, friends-to-lovers, great chemistry, good story line that crosses over the first book in the series later on in this book so if you have read it that’s a bonus for you and if not you really don’t need to, and did I mention the HOT sex scenes…so yeah I think just about everyone will enjoy this book.
