Drowning….another amazing read by the talented K.M Rogness!
I, myself, have yet to find a trigger in a book, but everyone should read them before you dive in to Drowning. With its shopping list of trigger warnings, this book delivers, with both a good storyline and spice.
The interactions and relationships between the FMC and all the MMC will have you not wanting to put this book down. The situations the FMC faces throughout will break your heart, yet at the same time show you just how strong she can be to overcome everything. I did not want it to end.
I will say, I will never look at a Popsicle the same way….not that it’s a bad thing

Drowning by KM Rogness is a dark romance novel. This author is quickly becoming one of my go to reads as soon as I see she has a new release. This book is full of so many emotions from sorrow to pure bliss. I love a book that you get so engrossed into the story you start to feel everything with the characters. The book is spicy but also has an amazing plot that keeps you interested in the story from beginning to end. The character development and interactions are on point. Oh let me tell you do I want to meet them all.
Emerson has been through so much and still cares so much for others. In some ways I could relate to her dealing with with tragedy and my own stuff in the past. I am sure many readers feel the same way. Let me say though when Emerson finally meets Kane, Seven, Stone, and Ace she finally finds some relief, happiness and learns to lean on others. These men oh boy you will enjoy meeting them.
I highly recommend this book! I can not wait to read more from this author so good.

This is an absolute favourite for me.
I absolutely loved this book so much, the MMC’s in this book have a hold on you. Why choose one man when you can have four men. This book just sucks you in deeper and deeper, I didn’t want to put it down.
I love the multiple perspectives of Emerson, Kane, Seven, Ace and Stone, the way it was all written has a hold on me.

This book was everything I needed and more! The spice was *chef’s kiss*, and I will be thinking about the popsicle and the water play for a long time. I wish I got more of Stone and Ace together; I would have loved to have seen more of them with Emerson and had more scenes separately. Other than that, I loved the characters and their “stage time,” especially Daddy Kane.
I loved how each guy in the polycule gave her something that she needed to keep her head above water. And the way they were so supportive and respectful of her boundaries when she was dealing with the trauma and different emotions melted my heart.
I thought that Emerson was so strong to overcome everything that was happening to her. Maybe she could have been more open about her struggles to her men, but nobody said that healing was linear.
It’s no secret that I’ve dealt with anxiety and depression for most of my life. So when I see a FMC (or MMC) that opens up, and overcomes their obstacles and is okay, it shows me that I will be okay while dealing with things in my life. And when the MMC’s love her regardless, it shows me that I’m worthy of love and affection.
Emerson has become a role model for me, and I hope she can give you strength and comfort when you read this book as well.

It’s the summer Emerson Cole dreaded but didn’t realize she needed. She faced tough challenges, and only these men could help her through.
Emerson, our main character, struggles with losing her parents, dealing with an abusive partner, a stalker, and forbidden desires—a lot for anyone to handle. She’s determined not to appear weak and to make her brother Eli proud, but she worries about how it might affect his friendships.
Kane is dominant and was best friends with Emerson’s father. He pushes her boundaries in ways that ultimately make her stronger.
Stone, Kane’s protective son, usually follows directions in bed rather than giving them. He cares deeply for Emerson, much like Ace. Their relationship is intense and unique.
Ace is a sweetheart, shy but skilled (wink wink). He’s quite captivating when he has Stone under his spell.

This book really hit me in a good way. At times i needed a tissue and other times i was getting real hot. And needed to cool myself down.
The emotions in this book are strong and i could really feel them..
Emerson had so much to endure and go trough. But she really got trough with the help off Kane, Seven, Ace and Stone. They all brought something to the table that made it all work.
The dynamics between the characters feel so real and are really good.
Althought a lot off good and beautiful things happend.
There are also some dark and heavy things that happend.
The book is absolutely worth reading. I wouldn’t have wanted to miss it for the world ( personally ).
But one important thing. KM Rogness added a trigger warning list make sure you read it and take it to heart.
If none of the triggers are a problem for you. I would say go and read the book. It is well worth it. I for one loved the book!!

Let’s take a dive into Drowning by K.M. Rogness This book has so many great points of view from all 4 hunky men and our main character. The smut of course is in a true K.M. Rogness fashion which I absolutely love how she gets creative with the steamy scenes is to die for like the popsicle one. I felt a deep understanding of Emerson and the way she felt like she was drowning I believe we all can relate to her in a way. This is why. I truly love this book it has smut, forbidden love, crazy unhinged ex and 4 sexy biker men who are older nothing like an older man. Just remember to always take tropes/ warnings into consideration. I personally have no issues with tropes/ warnings and it does come with a shopping list of them. In all fields I give this book a 10/10. So dive into Drowning and let me know what you think of it!!!

This was my first K.M. Rogness read but I can guarantee it won’t be my last. I absolutely loved Emerson’s story. Her fight and the mental health rep was truly refreshing. The relationship she has with each of the guys is unique and entirely relatable. Would HIGHLY recommend for my fellow why choose/dark romance friends.

Who doesn’t love a dark, spicy, forbidden, why choose romance? Emerson is a badass FMC, who gets herself out of a terribly toxic first love relationship to then fall for 4 guys who have always looked out for her but were considered forbidden. Let me tell you the spice was spicing! And I love a why choose book with MM moments, Ace & Stone were just so cute & fun together. I absolutely loved Seven & Kane, but I think Seven was my favorite MMC. Definitely check out the TW’s before diving in!

The story was so well written from Emersons character and her story line , she’s such a beautiful badass . They Dynamics between and MMCS . Y’all K.M. Rogness did it again! Holy Smokes, where do I even begin! From the very first page, I could feel the emotion written. I soon became obsessed with the main character’s, hoping for them, cheering for them, laughing and crying with them. Every character was perfectly written, and so was their love for Emerson. Their loyalty to her had me swooning. Those men are men who’d do anything for their woman except Danny, everyone hates him lol but seriously the twists and turns, trauma, the plot, love, and the spice will have you freakin addicted! My favorite quote from the book was, “With a newfound love, confidence, and determination, I ride into the eye of the storm.” So with that said, do yourselves a favor… Grab this book, the tissues, maybe a towel sit down because you’re in for one hell of a ride.

Not only did I read this book once before posting this review, but TWICE. I could not get enough of this story.

If you love why choose, trauma, healing, and a long trigger warning list…read this book! Emerson is truly a survivor, surviving the death of her parents and an abusive relationship. But she is also a fighter, and she clawed her way back to happiness through the love of her men. This was an awesome why choose because each of her men brought their own personality to the story and their own special way to help Emerson heal from her trauma. I’ve been with KM Rogness since her debut and I’ve loved each and every one of her books! This didn’t disappoint, delivering a deliciously scandalous why choose with not two, not three, but FOUR amazing love interests for our heroine. *swoon*
They are all unique and bring different things to the table. They have their own nicknames for her, they share different activities, and they connect with Emerson in such sweet ways. I really can’t pick a favorite, so I can see why she couldn’t either!
This story is FULL of spice, but there is also a well developed story line that makes you fall in love with each and every character. I just don’t recommend reading it in public

I loved Emerson’s determination, willpower, and fight. She was such a strong MFC. And the guys?! I don’t think I could choose a favorite either! They all gave her something different, but yet all made her complete. I loved all of them: Daddy Kane, Seven, Ace, and Stone were amazing MMCs. Kane was such a strong male figure, Seven was giving golden retriever energy, Stone and Ace were just complete sweethearts.

This was my first book by this author but not the last. I love a good why choose book and this I’m one did it for me! Make sure you check your triggers prior to reading though. The playlist in the book is AMAZING. I love the multiple perspectives of Emerson, Kane, Seven, Ace, and Stone. This book instantly draws you in to the point where you don’t want to put it down. I love seeing Emerson grow throughout the book and accept help. Each of the guys in this book were great too. It was definitely spicy (peep the character art at the end). I would highly recommend reading this book!
