Wow, what a journey this book took me on. I was completely engaged with the characters. This book is somewhat of a romantic suspense in a sense that there are elements that put you on the edge of your seat.
This is a gritty story with broken main characters, but each are on their own paths. Raine is more on the way to healing and creating a life for himself, while Jason is just tragic in so many ways; I felt so much for Jason. After a lot of dancing around each other and no real talking about things these two fight their way to an HEA.
I truly enjoyed this story: my advise: buy it!
