Just a Distraction

My best friend wants me to go out for my twenty-first birthday, but after the day I had, it’s the last thing I want to do. She told me that I need a distraction to get over my ex, and the idea is unappealing until I see him.

Connor is way out of my league, and not to mention, way too old for me. But I can’t deny that I want him, even if only for the night.

I’ll have a little sexy birthday fun and then I’ll never see him again. He is after all, just a distraction.
