Mended and Marked has fantastic world building and great characters. This is part of a wonderful series by V.T. Bond. This book is a short and sweet read that takes you into a wonderful new series. I love how the author gave us little glimpses into the future of the series while keeping this book all about the romance between this couple. The characterization was top notch with the leading men and leading lady being very distinct individuals. This pair both came from a place of uncertainty into a HEA that was meant to be. A very easy read and a page turner that will keep you on the edge of your seat. With steamy scenes, great action, and unpredictable moments.

I’ve said it before, and I know I’ll say it again, but V.T. Bonds is one of my favorite authors and this series will always hold a special place in my heart. Each story is unique, the characters are always complex, they are loaded with danger and suspense, the sexy scenes are scorching, and I always finish the story with a smile on my face. They are stand alone stories, but there is an intense story arc that started in her Alpha Elite series and continues into this one, so I recommend reading starting with Unknown Omega. You won’t regret it. Each story is better than the last, and each one quickly becomes my favorites, I know that’s not logical but it is what it is.
I can’t tell you the number of times my heart broke while I was reading this. My anxiety would spike almost every other page, and I kept praying that everyone would make it out alive. It was intense. The chemistry between Duri and Cahress was beautiful and painful in turn, and even though I knew it would end with a HEA, I still found myself questioning if it would happen. I was racing to reach the end so I would know what happened next, and trying to force myself to slow down so I could savor each word. This is one series that I know I’ll read over and over again and never get tired of.

I’ve read the entire (thus far) Warrior Elite Series of books and all of them, including Mended and Marked, swept me into a whirlpool of reading pleasure, excitement and suspense. If you enjoy a MMC and fmc who live for each other, and would die for one another too, then this book is for you. This author has built an alien world so intricate and satisfying, I could hardly put the book down. I am so looking forward to the next in the series!

This is not the first part I read about the sickening ICS. What they do to others is indescribable. And especially the female race is “examined”, used and abused by them.
Alphas from the Warrior’s elite fight against the various hidden units of the ICS. And in each story you can read how one of the alien creatures finds their lifemate in one of the unfortunate women trapped by ICS.
In this story it is Charess and Duri.
Pregnant Duri is captured when her cruise ship crashes on a planet she doesn’t know. The group of Warrior Elite that saves her consists of only 3 alpha males.
The journey to freedom is difficult, especially for Duri in her pregnancy. It is Charess who takes care of her. Not just because this is his job and purpose in life but because he knows she is his lifemate. But during the grueling journey, he cannot act according to his primal instincts.

Mended and Marked is the 6th book in the Warrior Elite Series and this is Duri and Cahress’ story and Oh what a story it is!
Duri is an omega who survives a crash when she is taken by the evil ISC to be experiment on. However, they did not factor in a massive alpha named Cahress. When Cahress saves Duri he knows immediately that she is his lifemate; however, he can’t act on it. The reasons are they’re in enemy territory, she is pregnant and he does not know if she has been claimed.
When Cahress takes on the task of keeping Duri safe and trying to get her to safety, their bond becomes stronger and sends him into an overprotective alpha. I love that because the way he calls her little mama and takes care of her is so heartwarming, I’m still smiling from ear to ear.
In closing there is plenty of danger, alpha hotness and a HEA to make this a must read along with all the books is this series.
This is another fantastic Omegaverse story from V.T. Bonds and I can’t wait for her next book in this wonderful ongoing series!
