I am a monster, more than she knows.
Halloween was a taste and it’s not enough.
The beast within me won’t be satisfied until I’ve consumed and own every part of her.
But the ghosts of my past won’t stay dead.
When Christmas past knocks on my door, will I open it, drag the creature inside and lay its carcass at her feet?
I’m almost too scared to find out and I don’t fear anything.
Except maybe the guy in the mirror.
