Roommate
$15.99
Wanted: One roommate to share a 3-bedroom house, split the rent, and ideally not be the guy I can’t stop thinking about.
I’m a man with too many secrets, so the last thing I need is a new roommate with a sexy smile and blue eyes that see right through me. Eight years ago, Roderick left town after high school. We’re not friends. I owe him nothing. But back then, I let one of my secrets slip, and he’s the only one who noticed.
Part of me knows I should run far, far away. But the other part wants him to come upstairs and spend the night. But if I let him in, I could lose everything.
Seeking: a room to rent in town. I’m tidy, have no pets, and I will feed you homemade bread.
I should probably add: Gay AF, and has no filter. It’s no wonder my new landlord is so wary of me.
A smarter man would ignore those hot glances from the Kieran Shipley. The broody lumberjack wants more from me than another fresh-baked pretzel. But if I push my luck, I’ll end up back on the street.
Too bad I’ve never been smart with my heart…

“Roommate by Sarina Bowen is so thoughtful and beautifully written. So many feels in this one. I love Roderick and Kieran. Their flaws and fears are true to their humanity. They are both worthy of love, but at different places on their journey to finding it.” Dawn, Goodreads Review
“I am fairly new to the world of Sarina Bowen having only read one of the True North Books prior to this one, but I can honestly say that she is fast becoming a favorite of mine. In Roommate we are gifted with two slightly damaged men that are so perfect for one another that it is almost scary how well they work together.” Nadine Bookaholic, Goodreads Review

Nadine Bookaholic –
Roderick and Kieran’s story was sweet and sexy with a bit of angst. I loved the audiobook narration so much, Teddy Hamilton and Stephen Dexter really brought the story to life.
I am fairly new to the world of Sarina Bowen having only read one of the True North Books prior to this one, but I can honestly say that she is fast becoming a favorite of mine. Roderick and Kieran knew each other in High School but didn’t run in the same circles, that does not mean that they weren’t aware of one another because they most definitely were. Fast forward several years and Roderick is back in town after leaving Nashville due to a breakup with his boyfriend, he is currently looking for a job and a place to live. Kieran is working at the Busy Bean amongst other places and wouldn’t you know that is where Roderick is going to begin working as their in house baker.
Roderick is out and proud and it has caused some major friction with some people, where Kieran is kinda in the closet but not really…it’s just that he doesn’t talk about his personal life with anyone so no one really knows about his preferences, including is family.
The chemistry was AMAZING! The angst was moderate. The story was wonderful. I loved seeing how a Catholic Priest, Father Peters, made a HUGE difference in both Roderick and Kieran’s lives. There was one thing that he said that I absolutely loved…he believes everyone has the right to love whom they want and although he couldn’t perform a wedding for them he would be in the front row cheering for them, You see, LOVE IS LOVE no matter what!
If you enjoy MM Romances I highly recommend this book to you, and if you listen to audiobooks you’ll want to grab an Audio copy of this one because the dual narration was done so well you’ll be happy you did.
Happy Reading!!!
