I awake with a start, screaming into the hand clamped across my mouth while my heart races so hard, I think it might burst from my chest. A man’s hard, naked body presses against mine as he growls in my ear, “Santa has been giving to you all these years, now it’s his turn to take.”

I glance at the clock on my bedstand. 12:01 a.m. It was finally time. Christmas Day and I’m officially 18 years old, and now my stepdaddy, not truly Santa, is claiming me as his own. I’m not surprised. I’m home for winter break and daddy has been staring at me all night.
