Shadow and Shaft was an amazing story. The story has great character building and sizzling scenes. Loved the chemistry between Jennifer, Rajani and Sunil. This story is so compelling the characters captivated me in the first chapter. The author gave life and meaning to each character and surroundings. I couldn’t wait to see each chapter unfold in this wonderful world of Shadows and Shafts. I love a good story and V. T. Bond has hit another home run. Highly recommending reading the book.

I’m not sure what I was expecting with this one, but this was more. Jennifer is out with friends when she feels like something’s wrong but by the time she senses that it’s already too late. Rajani and Sunil are on the hunt and they’ve set their sights on Jennifer. That’s all I’m willing to say when it comes to the plot of this one because it’s short and I don’t want to ruin the surprises. I am going to say that it’s thrilling, dark, delicious, and super steamy. I’m also going to say that I, like others, wish it had been longer because I have so many questions.

So I love how this author writes monsters. They are always so interesting. And of course she likes to make them omegaverse as well. Which I just love to read about. I like how these are brothers who have spent a lot of time together and are similar but still so different. And I loved how the heroine was turned into an Omega. But not in a way I’ve seen before. Also Halloween is one of my favorite holidays so I love that this book ties into it as well. Very interested in what other monsters will come out in the Knottiverse!

Shadows and Shafts is a fun new Halloween story written by V.T. Bonds, who is well on her way to becoming the g.o.a.t Mistress of Monsters! This is the first book offering in the world she has newly created: The Knottiverse. In this story, the MMCs are two fearsome antiheroes. In the space of a few chapters, she managed—as she always does—to change my feelings toward the anti-heroes. At first, I was alarmed by them and distressed by the abuse they were apparently heaping on the heroine. But their feelings and actions began to change toward her, they started to redeem themselves, and I fell in love with them. Ms. Bonds, you are a devilish wordsmith, indeed!
The scene I just lo-oooove is where the heroine, Jennifer, awakens to both of her Alphas tempting her, hand-feeding her strawberries and other goodies. Finally, she’s so full, she refuses any more food. Except, then the two Alphas paint her lips with chocolate, and, of course, she gives in to them—LOL! I totally get that as I, too, find chocolate utterly irresistible! They keep plying her with the chocolate until nothing matters to her except them…sigh… A most enjoyable read for All Hallows Eve! I was given an early copy of this book to read, and this is my honest, freely-given opinion.

OMG what did I just read. V.T.Bonds is one of my favorite Omegaverse authors and she most definitely did not disappoint in this short read! This RH Halloween Omegaverse book was really really and I mean really dark with all the dominance and sex on a knot you could have ever asked for. Also, this one is not for the faint of heart. It does however end with a HEA.
In closing, I wish this story went on and on. There was so much more to these characters that I wanted to dive into. Hopefully, my next fix from this author will be even longer and better!
A definite must read!
