It’s Edie’s twenty-first birthday, but she doesn’t have any big plans. She’s almost finished with college, and she’s been all work and no play the whole time. When her favorite person, her stepbrother, Simon, shows up with flowers to wish her a happy birthday, she’s thrilled.

But when an old friend shows up shortly after with the birthday bucket list Edie made when she was twelve-years-old, Simon insists they head for Bourbon Street so Edie can have a little fun on her birthday.
