In Stolen Djinns, V.T. Bonds has created the second episode of her Djinn series, which is part of the Depraved Monsters and Decadent Myths collection. I was totally entranced by Zuli and her two Djinn-mates, Ke’nu and Kai’tau, in the first episode, and now my enjoyment continues in the second book. The three of them have accepted they are fated mates, a triad. But the two Djinns are starting to learn that having a human for a mate may be more complicated than they originally thought. Zuli is a dauntless, independent spirit. I loved her character. She was starting to come into her own power just when calamity occurs for the Djinns. There was plenty of steamy action in this tale, and plenty of suspense. I’m also so impressed with Bonds’ phrasing. Her writing is so enjoyable to read. My only complaint is the story was too short. I need more! Five stars for Stolen Djinns.

Both Djinn’s sense that something is wrong in their realm and expect Zuli to leave Earth and go with them. Zuli doesn’t like that and while the brothers try to persuade her, they receive a visit from Ifryt, the first Djinn to betray his kind. He takes the two brothers away from their mate and to a realm where they will both suffer. And Zuli also faces loss and suffering.
Is their bond strong enough to survive this?
The story ends in an open ending……wait for the 3rd part!

OMG! Things are so hot and then that bugger ruins it. They are strong. Light, dark and centered. They can get through this and Zuli is tough and she isn’t going to let this stand in her way of getting her mates back. She is stronger than she knows an Kai’tau has more light in him then I think he sees. Just as Kenu has more dark in him then he sees but I think Zuli sees it all.

VT transported me back to the world of djinns with this continuation of Shattered Djinns and cranked the suspense and action to levels I wasn’t expecting.
I could feel Zuli, Kai’tau, and Ke’nu’s pain as the three of them are ripped apart by the hands of enemies. VT didn’t hold back from the darkness that invades from every angle in this story as Zuli and her mates are pushed to the edge of pain and misery.
But, this talented author had surprises up her sleeve when new things are revealed with Zuli and how Kai’tau is able to conjure up hope underneath all his layers of darkness.
VT kept me engrossed during this highly emotional and action packed continuation – I was on the edge of my seat the entire time I was devouring this and the cliffhanger is killer. She took me from depths of Hell to outer banks of hope with this and I am dying for next book to see where she takes this three.

This is the second part in this series and all I can say is, Ohhhh My!!!
In this book Ke’nu and Kai’tau have been brutally taken away from Zuli; however, Zuli thinks they have abandoned her. While Zuli fights an evil predator, her two Djinns are fighting for their lives and trying to get back to save their mate. The only problem is, can they?
This book ends in a cliffhanger and unfortunately we have one more left and if the next book is half as good as this one was, we are in for one heck of a finale.
Way to go again V. T. Bonds!!!!!!
