Varden tasted like the forest, and my dreams mixed in a delicious cocktail. His lips were soft but firm underneath mine, and after only a moment of hesitation, he took control of the kiss. He pulled me up in his arms, deepening the kiss. I opened my mouth in a gasp, and he immediately took advantage of it by plunging his tongue into my mouth.
