The story is so innocent but seductive at the same time. For Eve, it’s as simple as desiring something and creating a clear, uncomplicated path to get it. No society rules apply. Gotta love a woman who thinks she can solve anything by shanking others. She keeps the story entertaining and fresh. But it’s such a difficult situation for Atticus. The temptation, the guilt, the self-loathing.
What I loved the most was the unexpected twist. And of course, how HOT they are together. It’s primal and wild. Eve and Atticus are dynamite together but still sweet. They just have a huge communication barrier that they need to work on to avoid misunderstandings. I give it extra points because this book is true taboo. There is no loophole, which is surprising.

Ahh atticus and eve gave me all the feels, this story was just as taboo as the first ine but just as amazing too

EVE!!! I *love* her.
She has that (literally) feral, possessive, alpha, “touch my man and die” bad bitch energy I swoon for.
Yes, she was naive, clueless even, when it came to people, civilization, & how the world worked in general, but that did not take away from her strength as a character – she was still strong & capable as hell. Pair that with the fact she relates all situations back to what she’s seen while watching friends? Yeah. I loved this chick. No one would mess with adult Eve & live to tell the tale, so who cares if she drinks a bottle of ketchup? She’s a baddie & can do what she wants.
Atticus is a nice guy. What can I say Eve stole the show. There’s so much to say about about the dark sad details, the hell my girls life was & all the trauma she survived… but all I can focus on af the moment is this bad bitch & all her feral boss energy

LOVE!!! I absolutely loved reading The Wild so to read about Eve and Atticus was a must. I wasn’t disappointed. The lesson of not listening to those around you claiming what’s right or wrong when it comes to true love is what you find here. This story has its taboo side but IMO it’s very mild in comparison to others. There is a great story line, lots of steamy loving, heart ache and happiness, and laughter. I absolutely loved Eves sense of humor and her view of civilization. K Webster continues to knock you off your feet with these novels.

The Wild was a rollercoaster that I loved, and Ms. Webster brings us again to this world with The Free! This time it’s the story of Atticus and Eve, the trope is the same as in The Wild – a MUCH older man and young girl. Story of Reed and Devon’s love was strong, but it was a fairy tale in comparison to this one!
This story will break you and it will spit you in the end when you are begging for this story to last for the eternity! Be sure to bring tissues as being broken while reading is something that will HAPPEN for sure!

Wow, wow, wow….. speechless! This book had me from the start and only enraptured me the further I read. This story was dark, taboo with twists and turns that had me jaw-dropped and gasping for breath, yet I couldn’t but the book down…..I devoured it! If you were captivated by The Wild then prepare to be immersed with The Free!! Eve and Atticus were raw, powerful, emotional and downright PERFECTION! This is definitely a Top Read for 2020 hands down!

There’s taboo. There’s really taboo. Then there is the taboo-iest fucking taboo book ever. And that’s what this one would be.
We met Eve back in the first book, but didn’t get much about her, because she wasn’t really the focus. We also met Atticus, and didn’t get to know much about him. This time we learn a lot more about both of them, and damn, do we learn a whole lot about both of them.
I couldn’t put this down, not at all. And when I was done I was mad because I was done with it. I think that Eve is incredibly strong. She knows that she’s strong too. I really wouldn’t want to fuck with her, because she will totally cut a bitch.
Atticus annoys me sometimes because I think that he’s a little hypocritical. Maybe he needs a smack around the ears to get himself straightened up.

I received a copy of this book from the publisher/author to review.

If you have read The Wild then you have meet Atticus. He is the best friend of Reed who book one is about. This story is very taboo and oh so great. I loved every single second of it and devoured it. I also will say that this book will keep you one the edge or your seat when you get further into it. I loved it and I hope we get more stories out of the characters in this book.

Sometimes the heart wants what it wants which is the thought that kept playing through my mind as I read this enthralling tale. Atticus and Eve completely captivated me and I adored them together. I found myself heading off to work a bit bleary eyed after staying up until the wee hours of the morning devouring this book. I mean did I really need much sleep after diving into The Free and being completely consumed by the boundless love story found within its pages? Nah, I was too caught up in all the feels and my taboo loving heart was so full. The Free isn’t your “normal” love story but then again love doesn’t always follow rhyme or reason yet can still be truly beautiful, wild and free.

K. Webster is absolutely brilliant! This taboo book, The Free, book 2 of The Wild series, does not disappoint.
You will fall in love with Atticus, and Eve. BB is an amazing surprise full of heart!
I want to say so much but don’t want to give too much away.
What I will say, plan on reading straight through. This author captivates you from the first page to the very last.
Be Wild. Be Free.
Tyi Johnson –
I love reading a good book because it pulls me from one situation and pulls me into another. I’ve been feeling off lately because of family issues. I didn’t know if a book could hold my attention. I was down and out. Not knowing when I will be up. The Free was a forbidden page turner. It was wild, free, and utterly forbidden. I loved every damn minute of it.
If you are like me, you should have already read The Wild. You know of Atticus and Eve through Reed and Devon. But not through their particular points of view. I loved getting Eve ‘s thoughts and feelings. She was small but absolutely fierce. So fierce. Eve knew what she wanted. It was Atticus. She wanted Atticus every way possible and she didn’t see any reason not to be wild.
I don’t want to give details away because it ain’t me. I’m just grateful for the story. I’m grateful for the characters. I’m grateful for the author to dive in deep and give me something wild and forbidden.
All good things are wild and free.

Free to love
Before I start I want to say I knew this book was going to be taboo asf and I loved it. I was so happy to hear Atticus and Eve was going to get their own story since reading The Wild..
Man… K Webster can just give you a hot sexy story. No she has to make it a heart gripping, pain loving story about 2 people who have been through a lot. I loved how the story was told and man the twist in the story was so not expecting them . I loved how we seen of Reed and Devon!! I loved this book so much ❤️. 5 star ⭐️ review

Every now and then, I dabble in wanting to read taboo and forbidden stories. Something off-the-wall and boundary bending. This book was heartbreaking in and beautiful as it told the love story of Eve and Atticus.
Eve is a born survivor, doing her best, all alone in the Alaskan wilderness. Having survived a truly horrible childhood, she’s now just living day-to-day on her own, not thriving, but alive.
Atticus is torn between two worlds. He loves the modern world he lives in, but crave the simplicity of living in the wild. He has watched her from afar, taking on a protective role. He’s not sure why he’s drawn to this frail girl, but he’s doing everything he can to aid in her survival.
When an injury forces them together, his protective instincts kick into overdrive and he becomes her caregiver, nursing her back to health. His logical brain knows that anything other than friendship/caregiving is out of the picture, but inevitably, feelings and desire start to surface.
The taboo nature of the story comes in the fact that they don’t really know how old she is. They assume she’s an older teenager based off of looks and size alone, but they truly just don’t know. There’s another twist to the story near the end that I won’t mention because it’s spoilery, but needless to say you should not be reading this if you’re not into taboo and forbidden reads.
Did I like it? I sure did. It’s erotic and lust-filled and something I’d read again.

4.25 stars
The wild was all Eve ever knew her whole life. When she faced a desperate situation, Atticus Knox took her outside her comfort zone for her sake. But he didn’t realize it would be a struggle for both of them.
I couldn’t resist a taboo book, so of course, I dived into this one. I’m glad to say this one met my dirty expectations.
I know this might sound strange for a dark, taboo book but Atticus and Eve were adorable lol! I loved their relationship dynamic. It was amusing seeing how both of them adapting to changes in their lives. They had good chemistry and the sex scenes were wild and filthy.
The book had an intense prologue which I loved. The rest of the story was entertaining but felt a bit flat in the middle and I wanted to know more about Atticus’ background. I’m glad for a certain revelation towards the end which brought back the excitement.
The Free is a tale of boundless love. It would appeal to readers who enjoy unconventional love stories without judgment.
Note: There’s a weird vibe on a certain character towards the end of the book. My mind is conjuring up some disturbing possibilities lol!

5 million, gazillion steamy, hot, wild and freeeeee stars! WOW. I am in awe. K Webster is a genius. How can she write such taboo dirtiness and make me just OBSESSED with it. Eve was so strong, resilient and tough. I loved her. More than Devon and I loved her so much. Don’t even get me started on Atticus. He was EVERYTHING. Sexy, sweet, sexy, sexy oh and did I say sexy? The twist in the book had surprised me! But it made the story even dirtier and better. I NEED MOREEEEEE. I want to go back and read The Wild (I miss daddy Reed) and then read The Free again because I cannot get enough. I really hope there will be more in this world. Maybe some M/M or naughty taboo with him????? I would dieeeee
Melissa Shipe –
When The Wild first came out I was hesitant to read it. But once I started, I devoured it. It was an amazing story and so well written. I’ve recommended it to everyone I know.
So when I heard The Free was coming, I knew I’d dropped everything else and read it immediately.
It didn’t disappoint! I’m so happy we got to hear Eve’s story. Her and Atticus are meant to be together and I loved every second of their journey.
Lesley-Anne –
O…M…G…I can’t even…
Guys, this is it.
This is the book (and series) I have been waiting for my whole life.
Well, that’s how it feels anyway.
I read The Wild – which is book 1 – and realised that this kind of story right here? It speaks to my soul.
Utterly amazing.
This one may be too much for some people, and that’s okay.
But to those of you that felt this down to your soul, you are my tribe.
EVE
We met eve in such a heartbreaking situation in The Wild and I am so grateful to K Webster for writing her story.
Eve has been so badly abused her whole young life, that it’s an utter miracle that she survived.
She lives out in the wilderness on her own and is more feral creature than human.
She hunts, she kills, she lives completely off the grid.
She lives in a little shack in the wilderness.
She’s known nothing of the rest of the world.
Her mother died when she was little and her older sister took up the role as mother to her.
Unfortunately, she also took on the role of a wife…to their father.
And her older brothers too.
Her brothers raped and abused her so much that she suffered immensely and bled out.
Leaving poor Eve alone with these monsters.
She had to become the new ‘wife’ to the men.
Thankfully they were killed by Reed in the first book and so the second book starts off with her surviving on her own for a couple of years.
She got attacked by a bear and almost died until Atticus (feckin’ love that name btw) takes her back with him to get some medical help.
And that’s where the story really begins.
I honest to God feel this story in my soul. As if I lived it somehow. That’s how good it is.
ATTICUS
He’s always felt the need to look out for Eve and tries so hard to help her over the years but she is guarded and scared. Trusting no man.
When he finds her hurt though, he has no choice but to take her back home with him to get medical help.
The more time they spend together the stronger his feelings become and the more he has to fight them.
Especially as he earns her trust and she decides that she wants him as her ‘husband’.
The things that they go through…
The pain that they feel…
The fight in this fierce little feral creature…
So. Many. Feels!
I’m still trying to put a name to the feelings inside my chest.
SEX SCENES
These aren’t just the usual dark and dirty sex scenes I read.
Nope.
These were raw and intense emotions and vulnerability played out through touch and taste.
Still hot AF though, lol.
“You like your clit touched, hmmm, babe?”She nods, kissing me hard as she lets me rub her. I tease her until she’s nearly on the edge and then I work my fingers through her wetness back into her cunt. Slurping noises can be heard as I fingerfuck her. When I push a second finger into her, she squirms. “My cock’s bigger than my fingers,” I warn. “I want it.”My dick jumps in my jeans. She might not want it, though. I’d probably destroy her tight little pussy. I squeeze another finger inside her heat, loving the scream that escapes her and echoes through the trees. “If that hurts, then you can’t take my big dick.”I nip at her lip. “I can take it.”I fuck her roughly with three fingers because the angle is awkward, but she likes it based on the way she rotates her hips. My middle finger brushes against her G-spot. Her pussy clenches around me in response. With new determination, I massage that spot until her body is trembling so wildly I think she’s having a seizure. Warmth gushes over my fingers as her cunt tries to milk my fingers like it’s a dick. Holy shit, she’s perfect. “Eve,” I growl, pulling my hand out of her pants. “What I want is so not okay.”“I want it too. Put your cock in me.” “You’re so fucking blunt.”I stand with her in my arms. “I’m not doing it out here.”With those words, I stalk inside with her, her blind dog on our heels. I carry her inside the cabin and into the bedroom.
Final Thoughts on THE FREE by K Webster.
I just…I need you to read this story.
Read The Wild first, then immediately move on to this one.
I can not tell you how much this affected me.
I can imagine that writing this kind of book with everything it entails was not an easy thing to do.
Harder still to show it to people and worry that they might judge you harshly.
And so I say to K Webster, thank you.
Thank you for having the courage to write these books.
For people out there like myself, who choose to live in the fictional world from time to time, lol, who need to know there are others out there like themselves this is a godsend.
We are not alone and you bring us together.
5 Stars are not enough!
Szabó Kinga Abigel –
The Free was so ducking good.
My mind is a jumble, full of dirty, naughty, taboo forbidden things, while my heart is full of emotions. … lol I loved this story so very much, it gave me a full on book hangover, and now I am just wallowing the day away…
If you are a fan of dark, highly taboo books (like banned from amazon taboo), then this story is a must read for you. I advice you to read The Wild before you start this one, because it gives you more insight on the main characters, Atticus and Eve, and their friends Reed and Devon. Eve had a very rough life, she is wild, independent, she is a fighter, fierce and also a true survivor. She is totally ignorant to all things civilised, that are normal for us city folks, because living on her own the woods of Alaska, she didn’t have acces to them, and that just made me truly apreciate the every day things… things, we don’t even think about, and take for granted. Atticus is a simple man, he lives near the city, but he also enjoyed the life out in the wilderness. Their paths cross once again, things happens and they both start changing. In Eve’s mind it is all very clear, while Atticus’s heart, and lust is in a constant battle with his mind. I really enjoyed itt all, it was hot, passionate, sometimes funny. I loved how Eve learned everything, and how patient, and protective Atticus was with her. I loved Atticus’s family, and the little glimpses of Reed and Devon. This book gave me all the feels, turned me into mush every step of the way. I was so immersed in the story, I didn’t even see the shoe drop coming. K. Webster you are a wizard of words, of taboo books, and damn it, you turned my already dirty mind into a complete gutter.
FAv.Quotes:
“Here, she’s relaxed.
This is how she should be. No teenage girl should have to live the way she does. Cold. Alone. Afraid.”
” Eve is my piece.
She is my wild.
I always knew I belonged out there. I just didn’t realize it’s because I’d always been searching for her……. My heart is shackled to hers.
I’ll never be free.
I don’t ever want to be free.”
” Love, Mercy, Faith, and Goodness.” – Cue- Ugly cry
“I was born wild, but caged and abused. And with him, I was freed. He broke the chains around my heart and took it for his own. Rather than feel trapped or mistreated, I felt loved.”
“Love me always, Atticus.” “Always.”

6 emotionally drained stars!
I read The Wild in August 2018 and remember having heart palpitations and holding my breath with some scenes.
The Free was so much better. These characters had me cheering for them and cursing at them, I cried, and I laughed. I felt so invested in this book, that I could not put it down.
It is a special craft when an author can make the reader feel the words as though they are happening to them and in front of them. K Webster has that special craft hands down. She draws the readers in from page one and takes them for a harrowing ride with her words.
This book is taboo, please do not buy it, read it, and give it a horrible review. Only buy and read if you are okay with this type of book.
Misty –
The Free is one of those books that knocks your socks off, turns your world upside down, throat punches you, then puts you back together and makes everything right again.
Atticus and Eve are taboo, forbidden. They never should have fallen in love.
But you know what? There’s beauty in a love that shouldn’t be. It makes it more powerful, more real, more intense when you have to fight for it.
I loved this book with all my heart and soul. It’s the perfect companion to The Wild and BOTH books will always hold a special place in my heart.
Nina Kneblik –
The Free is a standalone but it’s best to read The Wild beforehand. For those who haven’t read The Wild and jumping into this one you’ll need to keep an open mind. This is Atticus Knox’s story.
Life doesn’t always go the way you plan. You can’t control what the heart wants. Even when it’s forbidden.
“I was born wild, but caged and abused. And with him, I was freed. He broke the chains around my heart and took it for his own. Rather than feel trapped or mistreated, I felt loved.”
Kristi is truly the master of taboo, testing our boundaries and making us fall in love every single time.
Chrissy Busick –
The heart wants what the heart wants, and nothing can change it’s mind. This is something to keep in mind when reading The Free, and The Wild for that matter if you haven’t yet. If you have read The Wild you have already met Eve and Atticus. While they both played small parts in The Wild, The Free is their story. This is a taboo love story, if you are faint of heart read the trigger warnings before you read this book. However, if you can look past the age gap and other taboo elements of this story you will find a beautiful love story. A story about the kind of love that most of us can only dream of.
Set in the Alaskan wilderness the story begins when Eve has been attacked by a bear and Atticus does everything in his power to see her healed. He does his best at first to deny his attraction to her because he thinks she is under 18. Eve, however, is relentless, having been used by her Papa and brothers from a young age, she doesn’t understand why age matters. Having been raised away from society she is naive as to the ways of popular culture.
Atticus brings Eve out of her shell, and she becomes an amazingly strong and smart mouthed woman. Even Reed and Devon can see the difference when Eve shows up at their door.
This book is powerful, just like The Wild. It is one of the most incredible stories of love, and survival I have read. This is one that I wish more people could look past some of the taboo elements and look at the whole of the story. It is beautiful.
Jami Kehr (verified owner) –
Mind Blowing! I couldn’t put this one down!
Reading this you can tell Webster has put her heart and soul into this book.
I love these characters!
Eve is fierce, independent, sassy and won’t back down once she’s made her mind up.
Atticus is a strong, burly woods man. He’s sexy.. like heart beating a million beats a minute sexy and he’s set on being Eve’s protector.
Their story is one of those love stories even though it’s forbidden and taboo, it will stick with you. Actually maybe because it’s so forbidden and taboo, it’s all the better.
This is a must read if you’re a Webster fan and have read the Wild.

Captivating! I have been waiting so long for this story and it was everything I wanted and so much more. K has such a way with words. Atticus and Eve’s story was something only K could come up with. The Free will keep you on the edge of your seat, starting on the very first page. It’s so good and captivating you won’t want to put it down, I know I couldn’t. If you loved The Wild, you’re in for a better treat with The Free

The Free is finally here with Atticus and Eve and their story. K Webster has delivered another wonderfully written, forbidden and taboo book that you will have to read to find all of the twists and turns this authors loves to give the readers. Eve is a strong and fierce woman living in the wild and Atticus is a man that loves the wild for many reasons. I believe that these two were destined for each other even with all that life has thrown at them. Plus we get to see more of Devon and Reed and their family. I hope that this is not the last of these characters.

OMG!!! Finally it’s Atticus and Eve’s story!!!!This is such an emotionally intense, forbidden, complex, unique, TABOO, and yes- a romantic read that will have you rooting for Atticus and Eve’s relationship to get their HEA. Not all will want Atticus and Eve to be together and see their love as good because he’s 40 and she’s 16. There’s triggers in this story of sexual assault that Eve deals with. She has nightmares of this(flashbacks) but Atticus is there to help her. This is a deliciously dark, raw, mindblowing, heartbreaking, emotional, emotional, touching, taboo, forbidden, steamy, love story that will stay with you long afterwards. Ms. Webster has written a beautiful, powerful, love story that will tell the story of two people who fall in love- society may not agree but you can’t help who you fall in love with and that’s the taboo romance story that Ms. Webster has so powerfully written. I hope we get more books in this series.
My Rating: 4.9 stars********

A must read for taboo fans!! It has all the feels and a roller coaster of emotion. Edge of your seat, page turning action and hot steamy scenes combine for a holy-what the-I did not see that coming AMAZING read.

The wait is finally over. What a book, I absolutely loved it. Cannot wait to see what is next.

This amazing book is a follow up to The Wild, which is one of my favorite books ever. I’ll be honest here and say that I wondered if the author could go back into this world and create the same type of magic that seemed to occur with that book and I am so happy to say that somehow she did it! If you have read The Wild you should have a very good idea about what to expect from this boundary pushing taboo romance. You will find complex, complicated characters that will capture your heart, raw, intense emotions that will have you feeling like your own heart has been put through a wringer, drama that will have your head spinning as your heartaches, humorous moments that will have yo chuckling, danger and suspense that will have you desperate to keep reading as you perch on the edge of your seat, twists that will have your jaw flat out hitting the floor, sizzling passion and scorching scenes that will make you sweat and squirm, sweetness that will make you swoon and a love that is so deep, so powerful, so epic it can withstand anything and I do mean anything that can be thrown at it. Atticus and Eve are an incredible pair will leave an indelible mark on your heart and consume your mind. Eve’s history is tragic, disturbing, terrifying and gut-wrenching. My heart simply broke for her. She is so incredibly fierce though and she certainly wouldn’t want anyone’s pity. Atticus was a decent guy with a good heart and some emotional baggage of his own. What starts out as a good deed of necessity and the best of intentions quickly morphs into something intense, unexpected, hot and forbidden. Trust me when I say if you embrace the taboo, love the forbidden and like to push boundaries to the breaking point this book is absolutely not to be missed!!

Eve and Atticus were everything I was holding out for when I read The Wild. In their own way their love was wild and just like the title states, free. It took Atticus a whole yo really give into what Eve was wasn’t in and when he did it was truly a beautiful thing to witness. Eves past was something that broke my heart, and it really shaped who she was as a character but she was an amazing character who I couldn’t help but love and root for. I really don’t want to spoil (because I’m scared of what K would do (lol)) but I will say she rocked it and I would totally support her writing more books set in this world! 5 stars #2OCCJD

Is it hot in here or is that just me? I need to be hosed down! Clutch those pearls ladies as we go back to into the wild in the free!! Atticus Knox lives in Alaska and visits his friend in wilderness often. While there, a girl he once saved shows up needing help. Eve’s family was what backwoods nightmares are made of. After an attack she runs to the one man that can free her. He might be forty and she sixteen but when you have such a connection can you really say no? He has to teach her all the mundane things we take for granted, brushing and bathing…but will he be able to behave and keep himself in check to teach her more? We met these two briefly in “The Wild” and yes you will get some cameos of your favorite daddy. This is an extremely taboo story so if that bothers you then this isn’t the book for you. It is oh so forbiddenly good though! Can he set her FREE? Kristi has a way of writing something that’s so wrong and making it feel so right! Get ready to be taught by Atticus Knox! Absolutely Brilliant. Told in dual POV
