    This set of three books made up a spooky, sexy (adult) Halloween treat for me. There were tricks involved, my yes, but they were oh-so-fun to read! This is a trilogy, but I will review each one separately.

    The Lost Sacrifice – Book 2: In this 2nd book, the heroine (whose name, we learn, is Nari) finds herself ripped from the demon and the werewolf she has become bonded to. In spite of learning she has her own magic skills, she is not invulnerable. As she fades away from her Masters, they command her to remember them. They will never give up searching for her. When she awakens she experiences the nothingness of a type of purgatory. She has no will of her own, no identity, no knowledge of where she is or how she got there. There is no past, no future, no purpose—until, finally, a memory begins to surface: something to do with a giant, red-skinned creature and a wolf of some type. At every waking, the memory grows stronger. But what have they to do with her? The Lost Sacrifice is another spine-tingling and unearthly tale, well-written by this author, although I felt it wasn’t quite as captivating to me as the first book. It was, however, an excellent bridge between the first and last books. 4 Stars.
