As a newly appointed youth pastor, I blindly walk by faith, stumbling without the promised light down God’s chosen path.
Until a young man resurrects the sinful nature I’ve rejected in my strive for purity.
Isaac Van Dusen, my pastor’s son.
He’s troubled. Rebellious. Off limits to my lonely heart, yet gives me breath when I feel I’m drowning and in need of a savior.
Isaac’s hunger for sin rivals mine, the kind that consumes.
Burns like fire and brimstone.
I’m determined to stay in a constant state of prayer, begging for delivery from temptation—all while dreaming of being on my knees for entirely different reasons.
I want to submit to the unholy craving between us and worship the young man entrusted to my spiritual care.
But acting on the lusts of the flesh ensures our fall from grace, and I can’t allow him to be the second one to pay the price for my sins.
Even if it means living a lie for eternity.

Unholy Craving was an incredibly emotional and beautiful story. There are several out there who won’t read this because it may seem too taboo but I promise if you give it a chance, you will find immense beauty.
This forbidden, contemporary MM romance tells the story of Malachi Foley and Isaac Van Dusen. Isaac is the preacher’s only son. He knows he’s gay and spends the majority of his time in his room writing songs that he loves to sing. Malachi is the new youth pastor at the church with a painful past. He spends a great deal of his time repenting for his past. When he is invited to the pastor’s house for dinner, he is stunned by what he feels when meeting Isaac. The attraction is immediate but Malachi is determined not to act on it. Isaac’s dream is to survive to his 18th birthday before coming out to his father and moving to Nashville to pursue his dream of singing. I loved his character. He was the youngest of the characters but was surer of his place and faith then the older characters.
This was a story of accepting who you are and knowing that true love is what everyone desires but few find. If you find it, you should grab on tight and not let societal norms or religious strictness get in the way. The tension between these characters lead to some spicy scenes as well growth that could lead to an incredible HEA. This book made me want to cry, give bear hugs and shout to the world that Love is Love! Why can’t people see that is pure and nothing else? Lynn Burke embraced this trope with her whole heart and created an inspiring story. I highly recommend this. This is my honest opinion, freely given.

Malachi and Isaac’s journey was beautiful and so in depth it will have your heart pounding with the intense chemistry that cannot be ignored no matter how wrong or taboo it is, we get the pure raw details of the past and present and also the ignorance that goes along with it but this consumed me and had me holding on to every page as these characters truly fight their inner demons of right and wrong.
Beautifully written and so detailed I could not get enough of these two that were extremely on fire hot and with the most beautiful hearts anyone would have a pleasure of knowing. I loved it.

This story had so much emotion and I was totally invested from the very first! Malachi is the new youth pastor and when he arrives at his new place, the son of the pastor immediately grabs his attention!!! Isaac is a broody, restless and as soon as he sees Malachi, he’s smitten! They try to avoid each other but temptations are hard to resist. What will happen when Isaac’s father throws him and Malachi together, hoping that the youth pastor can get through to his son? I love stories like this and this is going to be one of my favorites of 2021.

Ok let me start off to say that I wasn’t sure I would like this book because I don’t believe in religion. That being said this book surprised me a lot, in a good way. It did have alot about some christians beliefs but it wasn’t to overbearing if that makes sense. The author made it to where it was part of the story and so much more than I thought it would be! Meaning the plot was freaking amazing! I loved the chemistry these 2 shared and how well they meshed together. Now onto the sexy scenes and reason for the 4 stars. Don’t get me wrong I loved the sexy scenes I just wished there was more. I feel like with this taboo there could have been a lot of stollen moments that were hot. Overall though a very good book and I can’t wait to read the next one in the series. Zeke had piqued my attention from the get go!

There is tangible love felt throughout this book. New youth Pastor Malachi Foley is trying to accept his calling and deny his heart. He has suffered some loss and does not want to be tempted again. Isaac Van Dusen (Head Pastor’s Son) is trying to bide his time at home until he turns 18. He wants to then chase his dream of becoming a singer. He also wants to live his life for himself and not his father’s teachings. He is tired of hiding who he really is. For some this is a taboo romance that they just can not think about, and I understand that. I, however, loved this story. It is about so much more than acceptance and love in a taboo relationship.
Malachi and Isaac’s story is to me what true love is about. The reasons to never be together sound solid on paper, but in the real world when a love this beautiful and pure comes along you should grab onto with both hands and not let go. Like recognizes like, and these two are just made for one another. Their passion for one another is tangible. The pain Isaac goes through turning 18, and coming out to his father is heartbreaking and more so when he realizes he lives his faith better than his father. The growth that Malachi and Isaac go through together and the HEA ending is so good. If taboo romance is your thing, then I highly recommend this book.
